Based in Denver, Colorado, –– Orestes Pluto was formed by Adan Menchu Cruz and his creative partner, Kedyn Menchu Cruz. In 2022, the duo self-released their debut record, “Copper Writing.”. In “Copper Writing,” Pluto writes of the all-too-familiar adolescent blur that defines the course of our lives –– until it doesn't. Don’t be mistaken though – Pluto confronts emotional inexperience with a detailed pen that speaks beyond his years. Orestes Pluto’s writing revolves around postmodernism, religion, generational dynamics, and meta-poetry. With music producer and visual director, Kedyn Menchu Cruz, the duo synthesizes word gymnastics with sonic architecture. Pluto and Cruz create atmospheric, electronic textures that translate poetry into complex sound waves. Discography: Copper Writing (2022) is a collection of poems confessing personal and social tribulations of teenage hood. Wrapped around the auditory words is a sonic world painting pictures of threaded emotions and situations.
