Bonding initially through a mutual appreciation of the works of behavioural psychologist B. F. Skinner, the two soon discovered a remarkable confluence of musical interests including French House Music of the late 90's, Ministry of Sound Chilled compilations, the Cafe Del Mar series, and the works of Pere Ubu, Television Personalities, Vangelis, and the Style Council. After a brief fact finding trip shared between the blue waters of Gozo and the crisp air of Lauterbrunnen, Oranje was born.
