Optimist Club were a loud, fast and incredible four piece, who ended their four and a half years playing together on 17th July 2007. Songs were characterised by rhythmic vocal sqawls fast, dischordant guitar and bass work over furious, stop-start drums, but amazingly they still managed to make songs that one could only describe as 'catchy'. They released a split 10" with the band Orion Arm in 2005 and then self-released a full album, "Ripped & Psyched: How to be a Winner" in 2006.
