Operation Tomorrow (OP2M) is a loose confederation of artists exploring new ways of creating music in the midst of life. They are based in Hudson, Ohio. The members meet together several times a week at Sean Carlin’s home studio. "We try very hard at Operation Tomorrow to not be genre defined. Some of work may be slightly derivative - some techno, some industrial, some ambient, etc. - but what we are shooting for isn't some novel admixture of things that already exist, regurgitated in interesting ways, but to throw those things in to the pot, to acknowledge them, but to allow them to be transformed in the maelstrom of our creative process. They somehow drift into the background instead of being placed on a platform and elevated. There is no desire to be able to say "See, we can do hip hop!
