Ouleya Mint Amartichitt or Ooleya Mint Amartichitt is a Mauritanian, Moorish singer. The poetry in Hassaniyya Arabic that she sings praises the prophet Muhammad, and evokes the dignitaries of her tribe, the Ulâad Nasser. She herself is very often accompanied by the ardin, a stringed musical instrument quite similar to the kora. Originally from Aïoun el-Atrouss, she has given numerous concerts abroad: France, Morocco.
