One Starving Day is a five-piece post-rock band from Italy. Their sound is very influenced by hardcore, but their songs are also very dark and calm, with dreamy parts and with fistfull of post-rock intimacy. They're very often compared to Godspeed You! Black Emperor or Neurosis. Their first single Animus appears on the compilation Emo Diaries 7: Me Against The World. Their first LP Wings Lead Arms To The Sun release last year on Planaria Recordings. They also appear on the well-known post-rock compilation he Silent Ballet, Volume V: I Let My Fears Get the Best of Me with track Aurora. Non-instrumental version of this song will appear on the upcoming album Atlas Coelestis, that's going to be release in autumn '07.
