One Hit Wonder Band was created in Bogotá, Colombia, in May 2008 by Anika Monty (Ana María Montenegro), Avigail (Maria Angélica Madero), Esteman (Esteban Mateus) and Kamy Rayne (Camilo Tamayo). The band started as a class project for the Art School of "La Universidad de los Andes". Each of the band members , have their own musical project and a different taste in music. They decided to join their different points of view and after two weeks of work they created ONE song, ONE Hit, to represent them as The One Hit Wonder Band.
