1- Colorado hardcore 2- Italian screamo 1 - One Dying Wish were a Boulder, Colorado based hardcore band who played together from 2001-2004, and contained several prominent members of the Boulder/Denver music scene including Timothy Thomas Cleary , Mike Herrera, Tristan Shaffer and Chris Smith. The band's drummers included Brian Kotal, and founding member Wisam Alshaibi, who also played their final show with with them. Their only release, the 4-song "In Eidetic Resolution" EP was first self-released, and later issued on "This Blessing, This Curse" recordings. The band opened for many national acts that came to Colorado, such as Coheed and Cambria, and Thrice. In December 2003, the band announced were breaking up via their website. They played their final show at Rock Island in Denver on January 15th, 2004. Former members went on to many notable projects including Signal To Noise, The Blackout Pact, SleeperHorse, and Tin Horn Prayer. The band's official bio as it used to appear on their website: One Dying Wish started like most bands, a group of cool guys spending way to much time together for the sole purpose of creating music. This all happened in the fall of 2001. The original line up included Alex Krill on vocals, which lasted only a short while due to, what he called, his insatiable urge to 'get the hell out of this state.'
