Omon Ra was Zachary Fairbrother and Daniel Miller from Halifax, Nova Scotia, who met in the late summer of 2007 and bonded over Miller’s record collection and sci-fi novels, deciding to form a band that encompassed their diverse backgrounds and musical influences.
