Ome Joop is one of the pseudonyms of the Dutch comedian, singer and TV personality André van Duin, applied to several recordings in the 1970s and 1980s, some of which were hit singles in The Netherlands. Ome Joop was one of the recurring characters of Van Duin's 'Dik Voormekaar Show', on both radio and television. It remains one of his most popular creations.
