Olympia in ruin, is a rock band with Influences that range from Metalcore, to pop punk to everything in between. From Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. They formed roughly in late 05 early 06, and Indepedantly Released a 5 song EP: Titled The Whole; The Murder. A BC tour with a now late band named Falling In Reflection(Now Known as Daylight Disaster). Afterwards they put out a 3 song demo and in February they toured with Regina band "The Fortunate(Torque/Victory Records)" During the time of the tour they lost there drummer, and this put the band on hold for many months. Many months, a new drummer, and a promoting company the bands guitarist started since the beginning Olympia In Ruin has played with Great Canadian Acts such as Means(Torque/Victory Records,Facedown records,Black Box recordings, and Underground operations), Cry Of The Afflicted(Solid State Records), Glory Nights(Science Records),The Holly Springs Disaster(Underground Operations),Cancerbats(Distort Records), A Textbook Tragedy(Distort Records) ect. And American Metalcore Such as Ligeia(Ferret Music), and Evergreen Terrace(Metalblade Records). Olympia In Ruin has been broken up since july 08.
