A side project of Trna members Andrey Novozhilov (Guitar, Bass, Synths, Vocals) and Timur Yusupov (Drums), Olhava is a 2 man Atmospheric Blackgaze band with themes centered around Suomenusko, the native pagan religion of Finland, based out of St.Petersburg Russia. The bands musical style is denoted by an emphasis on sound scape and drone, with droning minor scale synths and howling ambiences being a common feature in their music. They've also been known to make use of harmonic overtones and auditory illusions such as missing fundamentals, resulting in the music having a sometimes "trippy" sound to it.
