Caricia has received excellent reviews in Lima, UK and US. One of the tracks is part of Rough Guide of Afro Perú (World Music Network). The delivery is intimate and very descriptive. What emerges from the entire album is this need to document, to inform, to feature truly Afro Peruvian and Creole masters, like Mr. Carlos Hayre. The album features one of the only -if not the only in the US- collaboration of charango player Jaime Guardia. The sparce work of this artist, singer songwriter an indepedent producer trascends the individual act or gig.
