Olga’s fanatic passion for Russian electronica goes back to 2001, when she bought a CD "Hyper Utesov Presents" by Messer fur Frau Muller while a student in Moscow and Moscow DJ friends, including Gleb Deev and Andrey Panin, helped her bring loads of new Russian music releases home to Almaty. She burst onto the Almaty club scene with her debut in summer 2006, followed by a series of dj sets that have cemented her status as a DJane who “plays a different music.” The sound of Olga’s sets started to change from ironic elecro-pop to melodic techno hypnosis after she discovered SCSI-9’s music in 2006. SCSI-9 showed her an entirely different side of Russian electronic music associated with producers like B-Voice&Khz, Mujuice, Midiots, D-pulse, the Fragment label and others. Drawing on her training as a graphic designer, Olga launched Skazka Magazine in 2007, which combined music and design in a single theme. It featured Russian electronic musicians like Robots, Electrodinamique, Ambidextrous, Karateka, Last Floor Hotel, Ushty connection and DJ Mavr. In early 2007, Olga and Val Alishev, a well-known Almaty club promoter, organized the Technika promo group. Their first event, which featured Novosibirsk techno ideologues - DJs Mika Regards and Kite, opened a new chapter in Almaty club life.
