Oleg Izotov was born in Moscow in 1987. At the age of 13 he started to study guitar playing, Oleg did his studies in a rock-lyceum “Krasniy Khimik”, later he entered the state music college of pop and jazz arts. From the age of 16 Oleg has been performing an active concert and studio activity. He is a thrice prize-winner of an All-Russian contest-festival “Mnogolikaya gitara” (“Multifaced guitar”), and the winner of the “School of rock”, a contest of guitar players, organized by Russian MTV and the company East-West. In 2005 Oleg became the first endorser of Schecter guitars in Russia. He is a permanent guitar player in the band “Anj”, member of Dmitriy Chetvergov’s master school, and a member of a concert project “Trinity”, where, along with a joint program with guitar players Elena Sigalova and Sergey Bokarev, Oleg plays a solo program.
