Oitava Aurora is a Brazilian metal band formed in 2019. With influences from the New Metal, Metal Core, Heavy Metal and Grunge genres, the project arises from the members' desire to produce authorial songs that combine their musical experiences and, at the same time, distance themselves from the sound established in their previous projects. The name 'Oitava Aurora' (portuguese for 'Eighth Aurora') comes from this perspective: the beginning of a new cycle. The Aurora represents a dawn, a new day and a new chance; the number 8 represents victory and prosperity. Knowing that the number 7 represents the end of a cycle, using the number 8 as a symbol, the idea of continuity, new directions and new beginnings is reinforced.
