The Ohsees started out as an experimental home recording project of John Dwyer (Coachwhips, Pink & Brown etc etc) but has blossomed into a full recording and touring band. The band has had various name changes, going by The Ohsees, The Oh Sees, Thee Oh Sees, OCS, Orange County Sound, Orinoka Crash Suite. Generally the OCS name and the two interpretations of that relate to the (mostly) solo recording period. Some things have remained constant, the fuzzy recordings, psychedelic edges, reverby sound and the experimental drones over fairly classic song writing. Over time the music has become more band orientated and geared to playing live, with drums dual vocals, dual guitars banging out clanging slow groovy rock. The current line up is John Dwyer - vocals, guitar Brigid Dawson - vocals Petey Dammit - guitar Mike Shoun - drums Discography: 34 Reasons Why Life Goes On Without You / 18 Reasons To Love Your Hater To Death,????, Tumult Records (as OCS) (aka "1") 2, 2004, Narnack Records (as OCS) 3 - Song about Death and Dying / 4 - Get Stoved, 2005, Narnack Records (as OCS) Live @ Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, 2005, [1]Faux Fetus (online EP) Grave Blockers EP, 2006, Rock is Hell Records (6" lathe cut vinyl record and a 3" CDr, limited edition of 51) The Cool Death of Island Raiders, 2006, Narnack Records (aka "5") Sucks Blood, 2007, Castle Face Records The Master's Bedroom Is Worth Spending A Night In, 2008, Castle-Face Records / Tomlab Records User-contributed tex
