Ohmio is a Venezuelan electro-rock band, formed in Cumaná, Sucre, in 2002. Their music is characterized by the fusion of electronic music with rock 'n' roll, reflecting the experiences of each of its members, who have extensive experience in the musical environment and, based on that, the rhythm and melody of the songs creates an electronic environment, which reflects the passion and character of its members. The lyrical themes express surrealism metaphorically, as well as the restless search of breaking down the sounds schematic, set by the new wave of Venezuelan Rock. Their presentations were pointed out as one of the most energetic in the rock scene in the country and participated in important festivals such as the 4th 100% Venezuelan Festival, where they came out as winners of the event, and were finalist at the Festival Nuevas Bandas '03. The band has shared stage with artists such as Molotov, Juanes, Aterciopelados, Caramelos de Cianuro and others. They have released several singles, promotional videos and a full-length album called "6101", published in 2008 independently. On 2009 the band released the video single for the song "Atravesando" being a promotional release for their upcoming full-length album "Blister", an album that naver came to be and remained unreleased.
