The Of Truth and Stories saga began in 2006, when chance encounters and good luck came together and led to the formation of this dynamic new group. Chris Alexander (vox, keys), Craig Guidry (drums), Matt “Buzz” Buzanowski (bass) and John Miles (guitars) came together with the desire of creating music different from the rest...and Of Truth And Stories was born. Based in the burgeoning music scene of Orlando, Florida Of Truth and Stories set out to differentiate themselves among the rest of the areas’ up-and-comings acts. With a high-energy live show and a focus on creative song writing, OTAS began to establish themselves in one of the country’s most competitive music scenes. With each member bringing their own varied musical experiences and passion together to create a new and exciting sound, OTAS produce a blend of drama, energy, and creativity that is unique among their peers. Their HARD-HITTING new album was produced by rock icon Brett Hestla (Dark New Day, Creed, Framing Hanley, Faktion) and mixed by veteran music maker Pete Thornton (Paramore, Sullivan, National Product). The band was even able to draw the attention of mega-producer David Bendeth (Paramore, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Breaking Benjamin, The Almost, Dropping Daylight) for their first single “That Guy”.
