Of Norway was born when Chris Lynch was asked by Ivar Winter of Snuten fame to do a remix of Entourage for C+C Records. He soon involved long time DJ partner Lil'Wolf in the project and they did their first production as Of Norway. The 12” ended up being released by Swedish label Audiobahn, and picked up as a favourite among pepole like Frankie Bones, Brodinski and Nils Noa. It wasn't until after this release that they actually composed the aforementioned tune, ‘The Dandy Highway Men’. This composition marked such a dramatic musical turn-a-round for the couple that i became a mile marker for what has become the OF NORWAY sound! Between them they have releases and remixes on labels like Brique Rouge (FR), Mantra Vibes (IT) and Rebirth (IT) and have recently signed deals with the highly acclaimed labels Dialect (FR) and Afro Art (UK) as well as remixes for Magik Johnson on Underwater Records (UK), EssenVee on Rebirth Records (IT) and Per Martinsen/Mental Overdrive on Love OD (NOR).
