Ode to LaLuna is a Filipina Symphonic Metal Band known for their combination of symphonic and rock-metal style and their all-female lineup. Originally named La Luna, the band was formed in 2007 at the initiative of Selina and Chandra. The original lineup consisted of drums, bass, keyboards, two guitars and one vocalist. After the departure of several of the original members, Iah joined the band, soon followed by Yue. It was at this point that the music shed its ethno-rock origins and leaned toward rock and metal with aggressive beats brought into the band by Yue. The band changed its name to Ode to LaLuna as there are other acts using the name La Luna. The band consists of Selina on keyboard, Iah on guitar, Yue on drums, Sin on bass and Ishtar on vocals.
