Ukrainian band OY Sound System (also shortened to OYSS) was founded in 2012 in Kyiv by vocalist Marko Halanevych from "Dakha Brakha", electronic musician Taras Halanevych (Galatar) and guitarist Eugene Slavyanov from "Reve ta Stohne". Later singer Victoria Rodko joined the band. The group's genre of music uses various styles ranging from bass, dub and world music to electronic rock and reggae.
