Osdalgia Lesmes is a singer, actress and composer born in Cuba in 1970. She is one of the most important young female voices in the Cuban music scene. She was initially trained as an actress, but despite her passion for theatre, pursued a career in Music. She debuted at the Cabaret Parisienne in the Hotel Nacional... In 1999, she released her first solo album, La Culebra, which won the Cubadisco prize. In this album, she reinterprets many songs by Benny Moré. She later produced 2 more albums: Mi Armonia in 2001 where she stands out as a composer and Suenan los cueros in 2005.
