The term ‘OMA’ is a name used by two different bands: 1) A Manchester-based dream-pop/hip-hop cover band consisting of Chris Larcombe (guitar) Corben Lamb (keys, production), James Harper (bass) and Sam Heeley (drums). After a slew of dream-pop singles, they released their debut album Bread ‘n’ Butter on January 5, 2024; which saw the band cover hip-hop classics from MF DOOM, Nas, 2Pac, Ice Cube, Wu-Tang Clan and more. 2) a Boston-based band consisting of Jeff Bragg (vocals), Jason Calieri (guitar), Joey Korenman (drums) and Eric Toussaint (bass). Drawing upon a wide variety of influences, the members of Oma strive to create music that is sonically diverse, thought provoking, and timeless. To span genres and defy categorization. To make heavy music with a melodic twist.
