OHRICKY was born in Bakersfield, California in 1998, his Name is Ricky Canez. He lived in Bakersfield until 2016 when he enlisted in the United States Airforce. OHRICKY started producing music in 2019 and began in Hip-Hop, Soul/Boom-Bap subgenres. His influences range from 9th Wonder and Kanye West to Madlib and MF DOOM. In 2020 OHRICKY became affiliated with Tent City Recordings as a producer working with Notable artist Nytelife(Emcee/CEO) and Sandman (Producer/CEO). He has also worked closely with G-Love (Producer) In 2022 ohricky became associated with the Sacramento group called Flip a Beat Club which was led by Mon$rock and Dibia$e.
