Artist
Obed Peraza, also known as OBD PrZA, (Aka RevNoise), was born December 9, 1978 in El Salvador, Central America. In the 1980's music began to play an important role in Obed’s life. Old school rock bands, like Rush, ELP and Dream Theater were huge influences. He was playing piano at age 12, and later added the guitar, bass guitar and drums. But it is drums that is his true passion, and for four years he was a drummer in a rock band. Later, while playing in a recording studio in 1997, he realized music would be his life’s work and he started to realize his dream of producing music. In 2002 he flew to Argentina to study recording and music production. One day one of his classmates told him to "check out this song" – a PVD track – and from that inspiration, Obed went on to study ProTools and concentrate on DJ production. When he returned home, he was determined to show the world the kind of quality music that producers from El Salvador can create. He started on his own album in April, 2006, and on October 18th, 2006 his first single "Fly Away Feat. Sarah Gonzalez" (from his album, “Sounds of a Memory”) hit the radio (ABC 100.1 El Salvador). In the middle of the 2007, Obed started to produce tech-house under his alias RevNoise, and was signed by a highly respectable label, Subtronic, in Italy. At the present time, Obed Peraza continues to work in both the tech and trance genres of electronic music. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License;
