O Don Piano began in 2009 as the latest project of singer/songwriter Joshua Hood. The band is comprised of multi-instrumentalists Matt Bogdan on guitars, Phil Griswold on drums, Sean Savacool on bass, and Mason Frenzel on keys/vocals. Having played several shows at prominent Nashville venues like The Basement, The 5 Spot, and 12th and Porter, the band began to attract some listeners and began building a following. By December 2010, they had landed a session with Rock Island, IL-based recording studio Daytrotter (http://www.daytrotter.com/dt/o-don-piano-concert/20031178-3738318.html). Currenlty, the band is working on its debut full-length "Hearts From the Songland" to be released in Fall 2011.
