Grown up without a musical impression of her family, Nadine Maria Smith found lately to the passion of writing songs. She never wanted to play songs of other artists, so she wrote her own ones from the first steps till now. She learned guitar by herself and developed a special handwriting in composing. Although a doctor gave her an interdiction for singing, cause a illness of her vocal cords, she went further. In October 2007 a Djane of Leipzig discovered Nadine in myspace and offered her the first concert. Until now she were on stage in many parts of Germany. February 2009 she found musicians. They founded a band: Nylonsaiten & Saitenstrümpfe. Chris Turrak plays the bass, Till Kratschmer plays the piano and a drumplayer will be found soon hopefully. Their first album "Somewhere in between" was released the 14. June 2010 by the label lala-schallplatten. They played the Classic Open 2010 with success. The German album and two music-videos are in process.
