Nylon & Frets is a fingerstyle guitarist whose recordings transform familiar songs into intimate acoustic arrangements, performed on classical nylon-string guitar. Where most cover artists lean into faithful reproductions, Nylon & Frets favours mood over precision — unhurried tempos, warm tones, and a sense of space that makes even well-known melodies feel newly discovered. The project launched in 2023 with Guitar Covers, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, establishing a sound built around solo fingerpicking and gentle harmonic textures. Vol. 3 (2024) continued that thread, broadening the repertoire while maintaining the same cosy, contemplative atmosphere that defines the catalogue. The music sits naturally alongside artists such as Familiar Folk, WoodenSound, and The Cabin Tapes — perfect for quiet afternoons, studying, reading, or any moment that calls for something warm and unhurried.
