Nyle P. Wolfe made his debut at Cork’s Opera House as Pish Tush in The Mikado and is winner of several major national and international awards he has performed in venues throughout the world. A former student of John O’Flynn, John Carolan, Veronica Dunne and Robert Alderson, he is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and the Opera Studio in Zurich. From 2001 until 2006 Nyle was principal lyric baritone of the Musiktheater im Revier, Germany. Highly regarded for his interpretation of opera buffo his favourite characters include amongst others Papageno, Dandini and Danilo. Besides opera he has regularly performed oratorio including The Creation and Messiah.
