Artist
Nur Yoldaş (born Nur Belda, January 4, 1956, Istanbul) is a Turkish pop and Anatolian rock singer known for her powerful, hard-to-imitate vibrato. Trained at TRT from a young age, she rose to prominence in the early 1980s with the groundbreaking album Sultan-ı Yegâh, which fused Western polyphony with Turkish classical modes and produced several hit songs. After limited commercial success with later projects, she took a long break from music, returned briefly in the 1990s, and continues her career as a soloist with the Ankara City Orchestra, releasing new singles in 2014.
