Number Sine is a duo out of Scottsdale, AZ. They are an electronic pop band, with Hardy as the lead singer, songwriter and acoustic guitar. Elaine Walker is a producer and band member of Number Sine. Both Hardy and Elaine are Arizona imports. Hardy originally hails from Texas, where he was born and raised. After spending 18 years there, he moved out west looking for a new start. Soon, he found himself as the bass player and background vocalist for the Arizona band, Ember Coast, who spent 5 years together helping to develop many of his skills as a singer and songwriter. In fact, his best asset may be his songwriting, as he continues to add to his catalog of lyrical genius. Elaine grew up in New Mexico, and later went on to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where she honed her skills as a talented singer and producer. Finally, before coming to Arizona, Elaine spent some time in New York City obtaining her Masters in music technology from NYU. In addition, Elaine is a pro-space activist and currently serves as the Mars Project Manager for the Space Frontier Foundation. Elaine is a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Their first single, “Lights Out Landing” is an upbeat pop song, highlighting Hardy’s range vocally, and Elaine’s talents with synthesized sound. “I had to listen to it twice to get it all soaked in”, says John Beckham of Crashcast.FM radio.
