NuN’s Chaostry AKA Rafal Gladysz began producing Hip Hop music in Poland in 2003 for local crews under the guise of NuN. After some short EP releases, in 2005 after some deep reflection on his own individual style, and not being happy with producing commercially influenced music, NuN became NuN’s Chaostry, marking the birth of the unique musician Rafal is today. Taking a distinct, philosophical approach to his guise and productions, Rafal has created some extraordinary soundscapes enriched with complex synthetic textures, intelligent beats and thoughtful, dream-like sound clips making his music a real journey of musical discovery. Rafal explains the origins of his artist name: “It's an important element to understand a little bit about the music which I have pleasure to compose. The first part of my artist name can be found in Egyptian mythology where "nun" means the condition of universe before it comes into existence, in a free translation "nun" means "chaos", but chaos is actually where everything gets its place in reality. The second part of name "chaostry" is similar in meaning to the word "poetry". When we combine those two words we have some kind of metaphysical signpost, showing us where to find the truth. Well, when I'm looking around at reality it is sometimes tied up in chaos, in which we are trying to find ourselves and live.
