Their lyrics consider emotions, death, mysticism and sorrow. Their music walks the fine line between madness and clarity, between beauty and pure agression. Their songs are long, some might say epic, featuring both clean and growled vocals as well as distorted, twisting guitars and acustic guitars. November Leaves started as Jaakko Puusaaris soloproject. In the summer of 2008 he started gathering a band to play his compositions. Saastamoinen (ex- Chaos Preacher, ex-Kathar) was in from the beginning. Soon Pitkä (ex- Chaos Preacher) joined to play bass. Hall (ex-Seraphima) and Suomi (ex-Kathar) were asked to join soon after that. For a while they played without a keyboardist, then recruited Immerzeel. At the moment band is recording its first demo.
