Nou & was a very short-lived Dutch beat band of the 1960s, from Leiden, The Netherlands. Their only 45 featured two self-penned songs: 'Like My Dear Cigarette' b/w 'So Nice' (1967). The band split up shortly after the single's release. The band's name, Nou &, must be read as 'Nou En?', which is Dutch for 'So What?'. Following the demise of Nou &, frontman Roland de Leeuw and drummer Arthur de Leeuw formed a new band that was more successful: Spirit of St. Louis released five singles in total, including one ('Down By The Radio', 1974) that reached the Dutch Top 20.
