Artist
The Berlin artists group Notorische Reflexe was formed in 1982 and ended about 1986. Their music was experimental "Neue Deutsche Welle" and they were known for their film and experimental multimedia performance work. They were involved in the early 80s Berlin art scene along with P.D., Die tödliche Doris, Einstürzende Neubauten, Flucht nach vorn, Malaria, etc. One of their members was filmmaker Knut Hoffmeister. They had an underground hit with their single " Bresnjev Rap“ (1983), featuring samples of Leonid Iljitsch Breschnew. They only released one LP, which contains music ranging from minimal electronics to experimental electronics with some jazzy/ethnic touches.
