Why do people do what they do? What really motivates them? And how come it’s always the most fun things that can easily destroy you? We go for the things that please us most because, as we grow older and responsibilities increase, escaping from the daily grind seems more and more appealing. Chaos, destruction and the unexpected seem to Note to Amy like exciting adventures that lay ahead. For the Dutch five-piece, it’s all about thrill seeking and sharing precious moments. It’s about togetherness and it’s about exploring unpaved roads with the people you like best. Rock ‘n’ roll isn’t something you learn from reading a book. And, for sure, punk rock isn’t! Dutch punk rock band Note to Amy (White Russian Records) released the first of a series of singles on March 16th 2018, in digital format as well as on seven inch vinyl. The first single consists of the songs Loved Ones and The House. The group recorded the tracks at the end of last year, together with producer Robin van Loenen (Destine). Troy Glessner (MxPx, Underoath, August Burns Red, Devin Townsend) took care of the mastering. Note to Amy made a stunning video for the song Loved Ones. Despite being busy writing new material during the course of last year, the band also played numerous gigs, with the likes of Ignite, Chixdiggit, Travoltas and Bambix.
