Not My Dog, a hard rock band from Pretoria, South Africa, was formed ten years ago in 1996. Three EP’s were released from 1996 to 1999, ensuring a loyal and concrete fan base. The year 2000 saw the launch of their first full-length album "Dogumentary". The album featured collaborations with stars like Ready D from Prophets Of Da City, Hamma from Darker Shades of Phunk and Mr. Fat from Brasse Vannie Kaap. Collectively showing that NMD's then hardcore / hip-hop sound was going national. Singles from “Dogumentary” both climbed to number one on 5Fm’s Modern Rock Chart along with various regional and campus stations.
