The Nostalgia Critic is one of the stage personae by internet celebrity Douglas Darien Walker (born 1981), who reviews bad movies and TV series from the 1980s and 1990s. He is a co-founder and figurehead of Channel Awesome, a media production company. Most of the background music in the Nostalgia Critic's videos is composed by Michael "Skitch" Schiciano, whereas the lyrics are normally written by Doug and his brother Robert Walker. Their songs mostly parody previously released material, such as the dream sequence from 'Beavis and Butthead Do America' ("Boring"), christmas carols ("Holiday Clusterfuck") or the tunes from children's movies ("Supercrapafuckarificexpialabullshit" aka "Batman & Robin").
