"North Wind" is a Polish shanties band. They perform various folk songs related to the sea in traditional setting. The band was formed in 2006 and the current line-up is: Jacek Apanasewicz (voc, anglo concertina, bodhran) Wiktor Bartczak (voc, guitar, whistle, mandolin) Grzegorz Lewtak (voc, mandolin, bombarde, chalumeau) Jerzy Ozaist (voc, bodhran) Piotr Lasko (voc, biniou, accordion, flute) Jerzy Ozaist and Wiktor Bartczak are members of the band "Cztery Refy" - one of the oldest polish shanties bands. Jacek Apanasewicz and Grzegorz Lewtak are former members of "Kochankowie Sally Brown". Piotr Lasko played in The King Stones, Breiz and Bal Kuzest.
