There are multiple artists with the name 'North Star'. The early material of the Wu-Tang affiliated hip-hop group Northstar was also spelled this way. 1) North Star are a progressive rock band from the United States, active from 1982 until present day. With strong influences from Genesis, their most successful release was ‘Power’ in 1993. In 2008 they released a new album ‘Prog Bach’. 2) A Rap / Hip-Hop act from the north of London, England. 3) North Star was a Danish black/death metal project that lasted for a few years and had various line-up changes during the years. The band had lyricial and musical inspiration that derived from nordic mythology and its impact on modern society.
