Axiom I. The war machine is exterior to the State apparatus. Nomadic War Machine is a musical project begun in 2010 by Margaret Killjoy, a nomadic anarchist. The sample-heavy music, gothic and dark at its core, delves quite a bit into industrial and breakcore influences. The first album, "I have a gun. Give me all the money in the register." explores such themes as: solidarity and war ("The Rohirrim"), I.C.E. ("This Is Not Okay"), environmentalism ("The Taiga Comes For Us"), anarchism and the spectacle ("We Cannot Cower"), bank robbery to fund revolutionary activity ("Victimless Crimes"), the complex nature of interpersonal relations ("Domestic Bliss"), and fear ("One Dead Morning"). It has been described by Warren Ellis as: "'Gothic Breakcore'? Tormented and crunching." User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
