about

Genre: mixing ska with French chansons and Arab rhythms and sounds Based in Saint-Etienne, in France, the 8 members of N&SK have played more than 300 concerts together. After a first promising album, they released their second one, ‘Kosmopolit’, signed by Naïve and produced by Eric Loton; it is a warm new recording where multicultural hopes come together to help us forget the anguishes, realities and xenophobic diatribe of everyday life. We feel like we are on an initiatory journey into Arabo-Andalusian rhythm and reggae accent. A trendy, homogeneous fusion between genres and styles. The diversity of origins within the band itself has a major effect on the music. On stage, the nomads incite the explosion of both prejudice and ambiance. They set fire to a room as spectators spontaneously get involved in frantic dances. They are already being compared with the greatest: Les Negresses Vertes, La Mano Negra….
