Project NOISES of RUSSIA (aka Шумы России, aka LES BRUITS RUSSES) is a group of like-minded people, among which there are musicians, artists, painters, journalists, philologists. They are knit together by common interests and desire for self-expression and self-realization in various spheres (music, poetry, art, and theatre). The project has many fields of activity such as concerts, exhibitions, performances, happenings, acoustic experiments, video and sound art (making soundtracks for dances and films). The group's compositions could differ from one to ten participants depending on the specific program. The surface of human relations, importance of simple combinations of sounds, our impressions and associations are more important than simple search of God and of transcendentality and other attempts to reach into transcendent, into spiritual sphere with the help of art.
