"NogginToboggan is one of the most innovative punk bands out there." Rolling Stone--2006 NogginToboggan began in the summer of 1996. Jeff, Jeremy and Mike met at an ice cream social. They started practicing together and became good friends. In 1997, Bryan joined the band and soon realized he didn't need them; Noggin then recorded a 13-song EP at Moon Studios, and success followed shortly. In the meantime Bryan's solo career with the Mexican mafia as a drug mule was taking off. The band had 1,000 CDs pressed and distributed under harvey's records and it sold out. It is impossible to get this album; not even the band has a copy! The band played many shows as they matured. When 1998 rolled around, they signed onto Bettie Rocket Records. In March 1999 they released a second album, "Snapcase"; the band was unhappy with both the cover and the title. Finally, the band started getting some of the recognition it deserved. "Snapcase" sold well, so well that the band had to wait a year to release their second album, "Your Days Are Numbered'. In their spare time between writing new material, recording it and touring, the band came up with the idea and eventually got a punk Valentine's Day compilation album made, which was released by their label, Bettie Rocket. Since they released "Your Days Are Numbered", the band has gone through two lineup changes.
