Artist
Nocturno Culto (born Ted Skjellum in 1972) is a Norwegian musician, best known as the primary vocalist, principal guitar player and sometime bassist (shared with drummer Fenriz) for influential black metal band, Darkthrone. In 1996-97, Ted had a brief stint with fellow Norwegian Black Metallers Satyricon, during which time he recorded their most famous song - Mother North. He is credited as Kveldulv on the resulting Nemesis Divina album. Ted also released a documentary titled The Misanthrope, containing an ambient soundtrack performed by Nocturno Culto himself. Whilst continuing with Darkthrone, Ted also participates in and tours with Sarke, a musical outlay for former Tulus and Khold drummer Sarke. Ted performs vocals and live guitar for Sarke, where promotional materials credit him as "the voice of Darkthrone".
