There are at least two performers called "Nobot": 1) Nobot is an innovative duo from Minneapolis, MN. By incorporating live instruments, vocoded vocals, and laptop manipulation into an energetic stageshow, the band creates a wall of throbbing electronic rock that has been compared to Daft Punk, Ratatat, and Of Montreal. Following their debut EP "Power Today," NOBOT is now releasing a new song for free once a month, every month. Since late 2006, NOBOT has performed heavily in the Midwest with acts such as We Are Wolves, Dance Band, Beatrix Jar, Estate, Soviet Panda, DJ Bach, Plastic Chord, and Military Special. NOBOT has been featured repeatedly on RCRDLBL and HAVEmedia. 2) Coming from the concrete jungle of Berlin Nobot is slowly realizing that humans are real. In 2014 two guys wanted to get back to where they once belonged. There's Oli/Brainshaker - party organizer and spinning the wheels of steel since decades - as well as Martin/Z-Neo ex Naked Tourist and producing various electronic music for a while.
