No No Knots is an electro-rock band out of Cincinnati, OH, known for creating danceable pop with an experimental edge. No No Knots broke onto the scene in February 2010 and have already performed for packed houses at many of Greater Cincinnati's top venues. The band's sonic palette combines the members' conservatory training with glitched out synths, turbulent rhythms and sweetly scathing melodies to create tunes that noisily swing between post-punk, indie rock and electropop. The band's dynamic live shows have received rave reviews from the popular music blog, Each Note Secure, as well as Cincinnati's CityBeat. No No Knots is vocalist Molly Sullivan; guitarist Eli Maiman and drummer Martin Diller of indie powerhouse Peter Adams' Nocturnal Collective; Eddy Kwon, violin phenom of pop-gypsy-jazz favorite the Happy Maladies; and bassist Dave McClellan, fresh off his stint singing background vocals for Cheap Trick. The band is recording a debut EP to be released Summer 2010. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
