Conceived in London at the dawn of 2005, NO HOPE ASTRONAUT have continued to stare down the countless ‘The’ bands of this world to produce music and performances worthy of the applause and accolades they have received to date. In June 2008 No Hope Astronaut were UK Finalists of the Emergenza Worldwide Battle of the Bands held at the University of London Union (ULU). NHA wowed the crowds along the way and finished 2nd place overall, also picking up the competition’s best bassist award. This performance cemented their place amongst the top unsigned bands in the UK today. The release of their debut E.P. ‘The Things You Build’ in July 2007 on the band’s own Bigfeatz Records label, was met with a great reception from fans and industry alike.
