No Forgiveness was born in Autumn 2001 following the meeting of the singer Holy Smoke and the guitarist Celesh. Inspired by the eclectic mix of Marilyn Manson's shows, the powerful sound of Rammstein and the Industrial/Electro scene from Germany, they soon revealed themselves as a band with a fully loaded and energetic sound, packed with the raw emotions of insanity, sadness, hate, disorder, rage, and sickness. During the first year of live activity, they began to work on their first original songs, investing hours and hours experimenting with sounds and riffs in search for a massive, powerful, and dirty sound. Around this time, Lady Selena, a keyboardist, joined the band. This made them a quintet: Holy Smoke on vocals, Celesh on the guitar, Vlad Veronique on the bass and Franz Von Rottenstein at the drums, and Lady Selena on the keyboard. She soon assisted in developing No Forgiveness's unique style, adding a gothic flare. In September of 2002, No Forgiveness recorded their first real demo and began playing larger shows. They preformed on Halloween night in a club in Turin, thriving on the atmosphere. They repeated their first success at the "Onyrica" show, adding new songs and sounds. It began to look as if the band were making their real debut. After months of recording, they released their second demo, Obscure Shining. The critics showered Obscure Shining with positive reviews, dubbing it suprisingly unique. Soon after that, the bass guitarist Vlad left the band due to
